I was very grateful to spend a night at my aunt and uncle's house in Northern California. Being with them is always good for my soul. 

The California sun goes from dim early morning light to full-on scorcher in almost no time at all. 

Inside their home, it's like a Christmas wonderland. I'm very blessed to be a part of this family!

Fall Colors

On the way home from a recent wine-tasting adventure in Maryland, I forced Scott to turn the car around so I could snap these sunset photos, with that one red tree blazing across the cornfield.

 

 

I've never really been the biggest fan of Fall, but this scene was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
