Tonight's autumn sunset as beautiful. Someone else was taking photos from my sunset-peeping spot. The secret is out!

Video: Snow Timelapse - 2 January 2014

I got a new tripod for Christmas! So, I busted it out for Thursday's snow storm. Here is a time lapse video of the 2 January 2014 storm turning the view out my window into a winter wonderland. There was a small -- okay, quite large actually -- blanket fail, where the blanket that was supposed to be keeping the frame nice and dark actually enters the frame several times. Oh, well. Better blanket luck next time!

Fall Colors

On the way home from a recent wine-tasting adventure in Maryland, I forced Scott to turn the car around so I could snap these sunset photos, with that one red tree blazing across the cornfield.

 

 

I've never really been the biggest fan of Fall, but this scene was one of the most beautiful views I've ever seen.
